Challenges: Very large island, very busy pattern material, slabs not book-matched.
The client fell in love with Blizzard granite patterns and wanted all of the kitchen in this material, this one required a lot of matching of patterns: in the big seam in the middle of the island, in the waterfalls, and also in the full height backsplash; the island alone needed two slabs, we were able to match the pattern as much as possible, this is very challenging to do with non book-match slabs. The client was extremely happy with the end result. This is the type of project that you cannot rush, allowing sufficient time for fabricators to do their job properly.
