Material: Calacatta Vesuvio Quartz
Location: Chandler, Arizona.
Challenges: Very large island with a very large sink and 2.5” mitered edges. Fabrication, transportation and getting the island inside the house was very challenging. Customer wanted plenty of space for seating area, a 10” overhang was ideal, and allow by the quartz manufacturer without extra support, they also wanted double waterfalls, a large sink and for the material to look thicker, a 2.5” mitered edge was decided.
Result: The mitered edges, the color of the material against the cabinets and the last touch with the double
waterfall made the final result exactly what our clients were looking for.

Tips for future customers: The size of your island maybe de limited to the size of the slab (s), also the size of your door to get such island in your house, customers should be prepare to change desire total width of island by a few inches if needed.
